Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town is a farming role-playing video game released for the game boy advance. In this game, there is a role reversal instead of a boy, like in any previous harvest moon games, you are now a girl. You character one day suddenly decides to leave the big city and goes to buy an old farm to make it useful by working on it.
You will do all the farm work like growing crops, raising livestock's, interact with locals, dig ore, and many more. Taking care of animals and managing crops is the main aim of Harvest moon. As time goes on, you'll get new tools such as a fishing pole, a brush, calling bell and a milking apparatus. You can upgrade your farms and your devices and can go into the houses and stores with the locals. There are also many mini-games available. Overall it's a fun RPG game.
The game begins when your character is sitting alone in her apartment, and she's bored with life in the city. She wants to try something different and new. She sees a bulletin in the newspaper about a farm that is for sale. She immediately decides that she wants that farm and goes there to look at it. She meets the Mayor of the town, Thomas. Thomas is amazed to see that somebody wants to buy this farm. The farms need lots of mending, but Thomas assures that the people of the town want someone to revive the farm. Your character decides to live on the farm, and then the game begins.
