 It is a platform game released for the Game Boy Advance, a part of the Super Monkey Ball series. It is one of the first Game Boy Advance games that used 3D graphics capabilities. The game aims to move a monkey stuck in a ball by slanting the labyrinth. In the game, the player has to reach the goal at the end of the maze. The game's primary mode consists of a challenge to move the ball around the maze suspended in mid-air, whose difficulty increases as the stage moves forward. Most labyrinth does not have boundaries, so the player has to be careful as with one false move the monkey falls off.

Gameplay

The challenges range from flat and straightforward mazes to complex ones that wind around curves, bumpers, and holes. Some platforms slide up and down or spin around. Apart from this, there is a clock that is ticking away. The game keeps the player entertained throughout. The player has to collect bananas to earn extra points to get different lives. There are three difficulty settings and four monkeys for the player to choose from. It is one of the fantastic Game Boy Advance games that offer a challenge in its main competition. The game encourages replays and
unlocks mini-games.

There is monkey golf, in which the player plays nine holes of miniature golf with the monkey as the golf ball; monkey fight, in which the four monkeys step into a ring and punch each other off the platform; and monkey bowling, in which the player hurl the monkey down a lane to knock the bowling pins.
• The mini-games support multiplayer matches, where the player can play with friends using a link cable.
