Hamtaro - Ham-Hams Unite! ROM Download for GBC
It is an adventure video game released in 2001 for the Game Boy Colour by Nintendo. The game takes inspiration from Hamtaro, an anime that features the same character. Players take control of the Hamster Hamtaro and have to gather all of his friends, return them to the clubhouse, as well as collect words that are missing from the Hamchat dictionary. Boss, the hamster leader of the Ham-Ham group, finish up the work on the Clubhouse project. But to reveal his hard work, he wants everyone together. Players as Hamtaro, have to take him through several different locations in the game to get together all the eleven Ham-Hams back to the clubhouse, after which the Boss can show off his magnificent creation.
Gameplay
In this game, the players control the protagonist Hamtaro as they try to find out the various members of his clubhouse and also attempt to fill in the Hamchat dictionary. Boss gives this task to Hamster and teaches him essential Hamchat words. Many characters from the anime feature in this game as characters like Bijou and Oxnard. Players seek out the remaining friends by the use of dialogue options to solve puzzles and soothe other hamsters. There are four Hamchat words: "Hamha" for talking, "Tack-Q" for tackling, "Digdig" for digging and "Hif-Hif" for sniffing. All these words allow players to have a conversation with the characters and environments and help in the progress of the story. Hamchat words go together with gestures. There are also other words that players can learn in the game. Some words are locked; the player can unlock it by interacting with others. Sunflower seeds are a currency that can get clothes items which Hamtaro wears. The game also features mini-games such as Ham-Jam where players dance to the game's music and Tack-Q Bowling.

There are many puzzles in this game. The player has to run around different locations until he activates a conversation with the use of Ham speak vocabulary. The 85 other words in the Hamspeak language start an action that solves puzzles all over the diverse areas.
- Adventure
Early in the adventure, hamster has four essential words. With these four words in the vocabulary, Hamster goes into the real world and uses them. There is a total of solid 15 hours of gameplay from start to finish. After the completion of the leading quest, the player can go back through the different areas and find the hidden stars to finish the game.
- Mini-games
There are simple mini-games like Ham-Jam where players bring together Hamspeak animations and then dance to the music collected in the adventure and a carnival game, Tack-Q Bowling.
