Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia is an action-packed video game created by Creatures Inc., distributed by The Pokemon Company and launched by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS computer game console.

Its announcement was made in January 2008 and was released in Japan on March 20, 2008. At E3 2008, the game was launched in the US under the title named Shadows of Almia on November 10, 2008. It was declared on September 25 that the game would be launched in Europe under the label called Shadows of Almia on November 21, 2008. It was delivered on the European Wii U Virtual Console on June 9, 2016, and launched on the North American Wii U Virtual Console on August 4, 2016.

This game also uses the Nintendo wi-fi Connection to download new missions. The game begins in the Almia locale. The player starts as a Pokemon officer in-preparing at the Ranger School and rapidly graduates to a youngster Ranger and must progress from that point. The player has the choice to select their character's gender, however not at all like in the first Pokemon Ranger, this decision doesn't influence their accomplice Pokemon.
