Retro Game Challenge (US) ROM Download for the NDS
Retro Game Challenge, released in North America in the year 2009, is a mini video game based on a television series called GameCenter CX. Indieszero developed and Xseed Games published the game for the Nintendo DS.
Gameplay
In Retro Game Challenge, the player can either select a girl or boy character who play retro games to satisfy the Demon Arino, a character based on the TV show. The Demon Arino gives the player four challenges that they should complete for each of the games. Even though each of the games here is original, it looks retro or old with the graphics, gameplay elements, and sound. The game has a fake gaming magazine, Game advice from GameCenter CX ADs and Game Fun Magazine, and for this version, the game used pen names of journalists who are well known in English-speaking countries. Also, the game has only one mode to play, which is the single-player mode.
