Harvest Moon: Tree Of Tranquility, released in 2007, is a farming simulation video game. Marvelous Interactive developed the game and came under the first title of the Story of Seasons series. The story revolves around the player who travels to a bewitched island. The player strives to save the island, which lost its connection to the inhabitants as the sacred tree died. To do so, the player grows several herbs and crops, tries to befriend animals, socialize and make friendships and finally raises a family to bring their tree back to life. 

Using various tools around the mine, oceans and rivers, and farms, the player can become more expert with them. It enables the player to farm more land plots with one hit and water added fields at once. There are many new animals in this version, such as ostriches that players may purchase. The players can even adopt some pets, which are located at different places throughout the island.
