The game is part of the series called  Donkey Kong Country series. The game's plot is focused on Dixie Kong, who is the girlfriend of Donkey Kong, along with her cousin Kiddy Kong attempts to rescue the kidnapped Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong from King K. Rool, who is the villain.
