Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball is a baseball video game created by Software Creations and distributed by Nintendo for the SNES gaming console. It was launched in 1994 for the SNES and the Game Boy platform. The game has a Major League Baseball permit; however, not a Major League Baseball Players Association permit means that the game has original stadiums and genuine teams, yet not genuine players (except Ken Griffey Jr.)

Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball got a very positive response from the critics. Overall, it was applauded across the globe for its unique gameplay and attractive graphics. The game proved to be a huge commercial success and sold more than 1.3 million copies worldwide.

Gameplay

The player controls the baseball team. The invented players have similar statistics as their real-world partners, and the game also has a name-changing function that permits players to change the contender's names. Nintendo launched a portable edition of the game in 1997 for the Game Boy with original players and stats from the 1996 season. The gameplay is like its predecessors; however, it is sometimes slow because of hardware limitations.
