Gargoyle's Quest – Ghosts 'n Goblins ROM Download for GB
It's a platformer action-adventure game developed by Capcom for the original Game Boy in the year 1990. Red Arremer or Firebrand who is the main character debuts in the Ghost 'n Ghouls as an antagonist and this game is the spinoff of the original Ghost 'n Ghouls. Firebrand is a gargoyle who's bound to be the Red Blaze and saves the Ghoul Realm from the evil King Breager and brings harmony and peace to his land.
Gameplay
The gameplay of Gargoyle's Quest focusses on tight action platformers. Firebrand clings to walls, jumps pits, tackles moving platforms, and fights the enemies. Firebrand's hovering ability sets the action divisions apart from the many other games of this genre. He can hover for a specific amount of time, which helps him cross gaps, and also set well-aimed shots on bosses and enemies. Controlling Firebrand is fun with his simple abilities of wall-climbing and hovering. The other half of the game involves role-playing like gameplay: Firebrand visits towns, collects items, talks to people and goes on short quests, levels up his hover-time and life bar.

Gargoyle's Quest also showcases one of the fun elements; random battle. While crossing through the map, Firebrand will sometimes encounter an unexpected competition. It takes him to a small stage in which he fights a few enemies.

The action makes this game great. Firebrand's unique ability to breathe fire, his wings allow him to cross the vast openings, and he can cling to walls and climb up on any surface. Firebrand's abilities expand over time as he develops further into his journey and gains more powerful attacks.

In the game, various items have significant effects. Some things increase Firebrand's abilities to jump, his flying time and to fly infinitely. There are items to restore health and provide offensive tools to defeat enemies.
