The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, released in the year 2007 is an action-adventure video game which is developed by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS. It comes under the fourteenth instalment in the Legend of Zelda series and is a direct sequel to the Legend of Zelda - The Wind Walker.
The story of the previous game, The Wind Waker, is continued here as the protagonist Link starts his adventure to save his companion Tetra from Bellum, who is the antagonist of the story. Link goes to find his friend with the help of Captain Lineback and his ship S.S Lineback. While exploring the world, Link finds a few information and new items like bombs, classic boomerangs and bows on the way.
The gameplay of Phantom Hourglass is divided into two; travelling in the islands and their dungeons on foot and sailing within islands. At certain events in the game like boss battles, a 3D view is displayed on both screens, enabling the player to have a broader outlook of their surroundings.
