It is the twelfth instalment in the Kirby game series. This game's story is similar to the other Kirby platform games. Kirby can copy and inhale the enemies to get various attacks like swinging swords or breathing fire. Kirby's friends, King Dedede, Meta Knight, and Wadle Dee, joins him in this game quest. Each character has specific traits and advantages. Kirby uses his enemy abilities, Meta Knight's sword can cut the rope, Dedede's hammer smashes pegs, and Waddle Dee's has a spear that has a great range. There is also a multiplayer mode with unique features. If the supporting player dies, then he loses one life. However, if the primary player dies, all the players get back to the area's start. 

Game Plot

Lor Starcutter, a strange space ship, one day suddenly crashes onto Kirby's home Planet Popstar. Kirby, King Dedede, Meta Knight, and Waddle Dee go to inspect, and there meets an alien named Magolor. The essential parts of the ships are scattered everywhere. It's up to Kirby and his friend to find all the missing pieces of the boat. They discover all the details, and they travel to Halcandra, where a four-headed dragon named Landia attacks them. Magolor tells them Landia is an evil monster that has taken over all of the Halcandra. After Kirby defeats the beast, Magolor reveals his real purpose: he wants to steal the Master Crown and become powerful. Kirby and his friends team up with Landria, and they confront Magolor. They were able to defeat him and also destroy the Master's crown.

• Multiplayer : Up to three players can join the game's story mode. They can choose from characters, such as King Dedede or Meta Knight, and a different-coloured Kirby. It's exciting and fun as the player can hop on each other's backs, which combines their strength to perform powerful moves.

• Super Abilities : These are a set of five powered-up Copy Abilities. Players can get them if they inhale a larger version of the enemy's starry aura.
