Metroid Prime Trilogy is a collection of adventure-action games which is developed by Retro Studios. The play highlights the three games from the Metroid series; Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Nonetheless, Metroid Prime and Echoes was developed initially by GameCube.

The game follows Samus Aran, as she faces the Space Pirates, who have started an attack on the Galactic Federation naval base on Norion.The game also has the extension of the Hypermode, a feature in which health is reduced to give momentary invincibility and more powerful strikes. After a specified amount of time, the player will access Corrupt Hypermode, and if not stopped, leads to a non-standard game over due to Samus being caught by Phazon.
